What Students think of Spanish? 

     So far I love it! I think it is a beautiful language and I enjoy the class. Some of it has been a challenge for me but I love a challenge. Making the masks was interesting and very fun. We learned alot about the mask and what they represent as we constructed them. I personally get more than just learning Spanish in this class. I think I've learned to be more calm and polite. I have better manners and a better attitude since taking this class. My relationship with family and friends have improved and I have to say that I am happier and so are they. 

     I like Spanish class, sometimes. Some of what we go over is hard for me to understand but I try my best. I took this class because I have always wanted to learn Spanish and I thought it would be fun to learn. When I walk into the Spanish classroom all I think about is what are we going to learn today. Every day I go in there and prepare myself to learn, because I know if I do not pay attention I would fail, so I try my hardest. So far Spanish has been my favorite class.

    I like Spanish class. It is different than all my other classes. We do some fun activities, like making the masks for the Day of The Dead, watch movies on Fridays and make posters. There is a lot of references in the classroom. This is more social than my other classes.

     Spanish is really good so far. I really like the breaks we get to do fun things, like making posters, mask and watching movies, but we will get something out of it. For example, the posters had to be in Spanish, there are Spanish subtitles on the movies and we had to make cultural masks from Mexican or South American Tribes. The language itself was easy to catch onto at first, but it has gotten harder as we go along and I like how Mrs. Scott helps us. She gives us time, and "makes sure we don't drown". I am pretty anxious and nervous for later on in the year or even next year cause I do not feel it will get any easier.
