French I Learning French will help you to communicate with and understand the culture of the French people. You will be introduced to the language skill levels of listening, speaking, reading and writing in French and you will learn more about how your language works too! The goal of this course is to introduce you to the sounds, structures, basic vocabularies, and cultural notions involved in communicating in the French language. You will also be introduced to many francophone regions worldwide. The course aims, objectives, and assessment criteria are consistent with the National Standards of Foreign Language Learning.

French II Learning French will help you to communicate with and understand the culture of the French people.  You will continue to develop the language skill levels of listening, speaking, reading and writing in French that you were introduced to in French I, and you’ll learn more about how your own English language works, too!

The goal of this course is to introduce you to the sounds, structures, basic vocabularies, and cultural notions involved in communicating in the French language. You'll also be introduced to many francophone regions worldwide.  You'll develop elementary knowledge in areas such as  the environment , food & drinks, leisure, shopping, transportation, and education.  There is more emphasis on reading extended texts and writing in this second year. The course aims, objectives, and assessment criteria are consistent with the National Standards or Foreign Language Learning.  Offered every other year from French I A & B.

Le français II En apprenant le français, vous pourrez commençer à communiquer avec les francophones autour de monde aussi que comprendre leurs cultures. Vous continuerez à déveloper votre capacité  d'utiliser les eléments du langage (écouter, parler, lire, et écrire) en français  que vous avez appris en Français I . Et dans ce processus, vous apprendrez mieux votre propre langage, l'anglais, aussi!

Le but de ce cours est de vous introduire aux sons, aux structures, aux vocabulaires de bases, et aux notions culturelles qui sont une partie de l'acte de communication en français. On vous introduira aux plusieurs régions francophones de monde. Vous développerez un savoir élémentaire de tels sujets comme l'environment, les nourritures, les passe-temps, le shopping, le transport, et le système française d'education. Il y a plus d'intensité sur les lectures et les écritures dans ce deuxième cours. Les buts, les objectifs, et les critérium d'évaluations sont en accord avec les <National Standards of Foreign Language Learning.>

Passamaquoddy History, Culture and Language This course is both a formal and informal look at Passamaquoddy history, culture and language and how they have interacted. Students will gain an understanding of the Passamaquoddy community by looking at past events and contemporary influences and changes. The will study the language as it is used today and as it gives insights into the ways people conduct themselves.

This communication is evidenced in all four language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing - with emphasis on the ability to communicate orally and in writing. Students begin to explore and study the themes of Personal and Family Life, School Life, Social Life, and Community Life.

español I En la primera clase de español, los estudiantes aprenden como comunicarse de ellos proprios y el mundo.  Empiezan usar frases sencillas y estructura basica.  Practican lo que aprenden usando comunicación oral y escrita.  Además, practican conversando y escuchando via peliculas en español y con la clase.  En esta primera clase, los estudiantes aprenden del mundo hispano; los paises; la historia; la musica.  Al fín del año, pueden hablar sencillamente de la vida personal; de la familia; de la escuela y de su mundo.

Spanish II Students continue to develop proficiency in all four language skills - listening, speaking, reading, and writing - with emphasis on the ability to communicate orally and in writing. They learn to function in real-life situations using more complex sentences and language structures. They read material on familiar topics and produce short writing samples. Students continue to explore as they study the themes of Home Life, Student Life, Leisure Time, and Vacation and Travel.

español II En la proxima parte de español, los estudiantes siguen practicando lo que aprendieron el año pasado.  Siguen desarrollando competencia el las cuatro partes de un idioma:  escuchando; hablando; leyendo; y escribiendo.  Aprenden estructura que es más complicada y empiezan a leer cuentos cortos y escriben sus propios cuentos.  Siguen explorando su mundo con el exito de comunicar de todos los aspectos de la vida:  la vida personal (familia); vida de estudiante; vida recreativa.

Spanish III Students continue to develop and refine their proficiency in all four language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing - with emphasis on the ability to interact orally and in writing. They communicate using more complex language structures on a variety of topics, moving from concrete to more abstract concepts. At this level, students comprehend the main ideas of the authentic materials that they read and hear and are able to identify significant details when the topics are familiar. Students gain a deeper understanding of the world around them while studying Rights and Responsibilities, Future Plans and Choices, Teen Culture, Environment, and Humanities. Additionally, students will explore juxtaposition of Life and Death as it relates to the Hispanic culture by reading the B. Traven novel Macario.

español III En la ultima parte de español, los estudiantes aprenden comunicación que es mucho más complicada.  En este nivel, pueden comprenden estructura complicada y pueden aplicar lo que aprenden al nivel sofisticado.  En esta parte aprenden la matiz de la cultura Latina.  Explorando la yuxtaposición de Vida y Muerte de la cultura hispana en el cuento de B. Traven:  Macario.
