About James & Maddison

These two turtles are Red Eared Sliders, they were purchased at an Ellsworth Pet Store.
They now been living in the Biology room of my high school for about 3 years, along with a gold fish and some guppies.
Red Eared Sliders can live 50-70 years. Hatchlings are only about 1 inch in diameter, and an adult turtle
can grow to be 12 inches in length.
There is a female turtle and a male turtle. I have named the male James and the female Maddison.
The male is more friendly and comes out around more than the female, who seems very shy and skiddish
when you have the netting on the tank open or if you make any sort of sudden movement.
